Business owners often rely on Elizabeth to handle both their tax returns and bookkeeping in order to benefit from her overall guidance, frequently turning to her during periods of growth to make decisions on business structure and tax planning. She works closely with bookkeeping clients to personalize their record-keeping, minimizing effort on the client’s end and enabling them to focus on what matters most.

I enjoy helping clients fully understand their tax returns and explore potential opportunities.”

Elizabeth is an Enrolled Agent, the highest credential awarded by the IRS. Individuals must pass a comprehensive, three-part IRS exam covering individual and business tax returns, display high ethical standards, and complete at least 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years to maintain EA status.

Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, risk management, and insurance from California State University, Sacramento. She has been a leader in the tax preparation, finance, and insurance industries for more than 20 years.

OLIVIA WILLIAMS, TAX CONSULTANT

Olivia Williams is a seasoned tax and bookkeeping professional who has been with HM Partners since 2020. She regularly guides clients through life decisions such as purchasing a new home, starting a business, having a baby, or getting married, as well as working with many clients who simply want to be sure their returns are done correctly each year. Olivia enjoys building relationships with her clients, hearing their unique stories, and learning how she can best support their individual and business needs. “I want my clients to know that I’m always looking out for them. I make it a priority to never make my clients feel like a number.”

Olivia received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University, and she has previously worked in finance, budgeting, and business management. This accounting background enriches her expertise as a tax preparer; her clients appreciate her deep financial literacy and advice on situations with tax implications, including rental properties, small businesses, and investments.

She earned her tax preparer license through the California Tax Education Council, completing a 60-hour course covering everything from sole proprietorships to multi-state returns. To maintain her certification, she takes at least 20 hours of CTEC-approved continuing education each year.

Additionally, Olivia is a member of the California Society of Tax Consultants, where she seeks further training and attends conferences to stay updated on the latest tax laws. “Although the tax industry is changing constantly, it excites me to know what is current and be able to share that knowledge with clients.”
